Aldersgate is a historic and emerging congregation. 

Rooted in the history and legacy of the Japanese American Christian community, Aldersgate emerged as a progressive Reconciling Congregation affirming the rights and dignity of all persons.

As science and technology propel the world forward, Aldersgate encourages spirituality as a process of exploring, learning, and growing.  

Aldersgate is emerging as a "hybrid community", affirming the importance of the local in-house community while at the same time recognizing the value of online connections, learning, and sharing.
